Medizinisches Haftsilikon ist ein einkomponentiges, standfestes, durchscheinendes Silikonmaterial zur Verklebung von Silikonelastomeren untereinander sowie mit einigen Kunststoffen und Metallen. Enthält keine Lösungsmittel. Härtet bei Raumtemperatur an der Luft und bei Feuchtigkeit aus. Während des Aushärtens gibt der Silikonklebstoff Essigsäuredämpfe ab. Nach dem Aushärten hat er die gleiche chemische Zusammensetzung wie andere Elastomere in medizinischer Qualität.
